Last night I finally cast off my Steam Scarf! Woohoo!
Pattern: Steam Scarf by Diana Gates
Yarn Used: 2 balls of Crystal Palace Yarns Kid Merino in Painted Iris
Modifications: I added 2 extra cable repeats to make the scarf wider
I cast on the Merino Lace socks pretty much straight away, but have managed to mess up the rib chart twice already. That will teach me to knit when I'm so tired I can't keep my eyes open! Third time lucky...

This is soooo pretty! Congratulations for finishing - I can't stand to knit with this kind of yarn, but it does knit up into the most beautiful fabric! So light and airy - very elegant!

Very nice! The yarn you chose is perfect for the project. Did you find it a difficult thing to knit?

This is so lovely! I've never seen cables knit in such a lacey yarn, it's a great effect.
