I've just completed my Wanida socks!
Pattern: Wanida from Sock Innovation by Cookie A
Yarn Used: Old Maiden Aunt Merino Superwash 4ply in Bluebells
These socks just flew off the needles - the combination of a great pattern and gorgeously soft yarn made them a real pleasure to knit.
I'm 35 weeks today! I think we are about as ready as we can be. Just waiting on a delivery from Mothercare and then we'll have pretty much everything. Ross and I are keen to use washable nappies, so I have ordered a bumGenius 3.0 to try out once Emma arrives. Once I felt the difference between a cotton nappy and a disposable, I knew straight away which one I'd rather put next to my baby's skin. We'll order 20 or so more once we've given the tester a go.
Right, I'm off to work on some secret Christmas knitting!
Where did the time go, it feels like only yesterday when you said you were pregnant. Mind you stilll time to fit lots of little projects in to keep you busy. The socks are perfect!
My secret joy with nappies was to see a whole washing line full of brilliant white terry squares blowing in the breeze and the last time I did that was 16 years ago...and that went quickly too!!!!!

Love the socks! I hope the nappies work out. They make some great designs these days and I think if you start off with washables its easier to stick with them.

I use BumGenius for my baby. I've had them for about a week and I really like them. I have 21 and wash diapers once a day, so keep that in mind :)
